Celery
is one of those vegetables that are not only easy to incorporate into the diet
but also give a boost to libido while promoting overall health. Celery is
mainly known for its diuretic and hypotensive properties. Tender, crispy, and
juicy, it contains androsterone and androstenol, which are believed to be
pheromones that attract the opposite sex.
Celery's
aphrodisiac virtues are particularly noted in men. Indeed, some components of
celery help improve both the production and transport of testosterone. This
hormone, a symbol of virility and masculinity, is necessary for the maturation
of the male reproductive system, muscle mass formation, and overall hormonal
balance.
Additionally,
testosterone plays a significant role in sexual desire, not only in men but
also in women, as women naturally produce it in small amounts. Maintaining a
good balance is essential.
By
toning the body, you provide energy for everything, including libido. Besides
its energizing effect, iron and vitamins B5 and B3 contribute to testosterone
production. Celery is also a source of zinc and selenium, two minerals of great
importance for men's health. Zinc is essential for maintaining prostate health,
while selenium positively affects sperm survival. In both cases, libido may not
be directly concerned, but male fertility depends on these minerals.
Recipe:
2 carrots
2 oranges
4 celery stalks
1 ginger root
Wash the carrots, trim both ends, and cut
them into fries. Peel the oranges and cut the flesh into small cubes. Chop the
celery stalks. Peel and chop the ginger root. Pass everything through a juice
extractor. Serve
immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Drink once a day for
one week.
