Fever is an increase in body temperature, either above 37.8° C oral or 38.2° C rectal, or a rise in temperature above the person's known normal value. Fever occurs mainly in response to an infection. Symptoms are mainly related to the condition causing the fever, although the fever itself can cause chills, sweating, unpleasant sensations and hot flushes. Here's a better, more effective natural remedy to combat fever even more effectively and quickly.

Recipe: Take 5 ‘Esrou’ basil leaves, 1 tablespoon of grated or powdered ginger, ½ litre of water (1 pure water) and 2 teaspoons of honey. Bring the water to the boil. Add the basil and ginger to a cup of boiling water. Cover the drink, leave to cool and filter. Then add the 2 spoonfuls of honey. Drink 2 or 3 cups of infusion a day to control fever. Basil can be found in lettuce shops. Generally speaking, any very high fever requires a medical diagnosis. Similarly, any fever, even a moderate one, that persists for more than 3 days should be referred to a health centre.
