Recurring fatigue,
loss of energy, trouble sleeping, regular headaches - these symptoms can be the
result of high levels of toxins in the body. The
causes can be linked to the consumption of meals rich in saturated fats or made
up mainly of industrial foods, to alcohol or tobacco abuse, or to the
inhalation of pollutants on a daily basis. Here's a purifying
drink that will give the body a ‘boost’ to help it eliminate all the waste it
doesn't need as quickly as possible.
The term ‘toxins’, ,
is more commonly used to designate substances present in excess in the body.
They can be linked to: excessive physical activity, high levels of stress,
consumption of foods high in toxins such as red meat and offal, external
pollutants such as factory gases, exhaust fumes, dust, the presence of heavy
metals in certain foods, etc.
When these toxins
accumulate in the body, the elimination process sometimes tends to slow down
and malfunction. This has repercussions for your physical and emotional health.
Here are just a few of the signs to look out for: chronic fatigue, digestive
problems, skin rashes, muscle and joint pain, regular headaches and difficulty
concentrating. When the body accumulates toxins, the immune system weakens,
making it more vulnerable to disease. What's more, many vital organs stop
functioning optimally and can develop chronic illnesses that are difficult to
treat.
What does this drink
consist of?
This drink contains over
150 phytonutrients, the majority of which are flavonoids, which help to protect
cardiovascular
health. It is also capable of detoxifying the body and, above all, organs
such as the liver, kidneys,
lungs and colon.Rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, it is
a supplement with thermogenic and depurative properties, which are
thought to be responsible for its ability to help burn fat from the body.
Recipe: 1 litre of water, 3
green tea bags, 1 grapefruit, 6 mint leaves, 1 tablespoon of honey.Wash the
mint leaves and grapefruit well.
Bring the water to the boil
and, when it boils, add the green tea bags. Remove from the
heat, leave to stand for 5-10 minutes and add the sliced grapefruit with the
skin. Add the mint leaves and wait at least two hours before serving.
We recommend preparing it the night before so that it's ready when you get
up. Sweeten with a tablespoon of honey. You'll start to see
results after a two-week course of treatment. Drink throughout the day,
in the morning on an empty stomach. Repeat the recipe 7 days later.
