Good sleep hygiene is one of the elements that enable the human body to fight diseases effectively. Unfortunately, sleep is nowadays undermined by certain everyday habits. How can you sleep better?  Here are some tips to get rid of these habits in order to improve your sleeping environment.

Avoid drinks with stimulants after 4pm in the evening. No sports in the evening. Avoid a hot bath, opt for a lukewarm bath (37° maximum). No screens, television, computer, smartphone at least one hour before going to sleep. Maintain a cool temperature in the bedroom. Understand that the bed is only dedicated to sleep, love and night. The bedroom should be dark and quiet, which stimulates the secretion of melatonin, the sleep hormone. Don't count sleep, give importance to the quality of sleep rather than the quantity. Also avoid long naps which can disturb the sleep balance. Listen to the internal clock. Listen to the body rather than the head when it comes to sleep.
