Rebalancing
one's diet consists of integrating new eating habits in order to succeed, in
the long term, in eating a balanced diet every day. It is not a question of
starting a classic diet with foods to be totally banned, but of eating
everything in the right quantity when the body needs it. Rebalancing your diet
means adopting a healthy lifestyle by reviewing your diet.
This
way of life is based above all on the desire to eat a balanced diet. « A
balanced diet is a diet that contains the three food groups: construction,
energy and protection. Eating a variety of foods means not eating the same
things at each meal. For example, if you eat pasta at noon with adémé, in the
evening you may have to change to foufou with a vegetable sauce or rice,
depending on your taste », explains Dr. Bouraïma Mouawiyatou, Head of
the Nutrition Division at the Ministry in charge of Health.
In
order not to get discouraged, you should try to change one eating habit after
another. Give yourself time to see the effects. Also, take the three meals
well. The objective is not to deprive yourself and go to war with food. Rather,
it is to discover a new dietary balance that will allow you to have a healthy
weight and live a healthier life. In order to be fully effective, the dietary
rebalancing process should be combined with regular and moderate sports
activities. Finally, drink a sufficient quantity of water every day.
« Have
breakfast preferably at the same time in the morning. First of all, eating a
balanced diet is not within everyone's reach. It requires means and you have to
know about it. Eating well also depends on your blood type. Rule n°1, drink water in the morning; rule
n°2, eat fruits between 6am and 10am in the morning so that they become
medicine in our organism. But pay attention
to organic fruits like pineapple without chemicals and living foods like yam.
At noon eat heavy if possible. In the evening eat light if possible »,

Foods
to be favored
Favour
natural foods, unpackaged foods that have not undergone any industrial
transformation. Know how to sort out carbohydrates and lipids. Eat fatty fish,
such as salmon, or oilseeds, such as nuts and dates, about twice a week.
Similarly, the body needs the fuel that carbohydrates constitute. But avoid
fast sugars and white sugar.
Opt
for fruits, vegetables, whole grains and all foods rich in proteins such as
lean meat, eggs, legumes. Consume in small portions: yoghurts with cream,
smoked fish, semi-skimmed butter, orange juice, cottage cheese.
