to scientists at Aston University in Birmingham, the more often people eat
fruit, the lower their depression score and the higher their mental well-being
score. Clearly, eating fruit often is good, but not necessarily great. On the
other hand, those who frequently snack on salty foods are more likely to
experience « daily mental flaws » such as forgetting their keys, or
symptoms of anxiety, stress, depression. Eating raw fruit has a positive
influence on psychological health.
