Intestinal
parasites and worms are more common in children and adults. They can cause
abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea and even malnutrition. Eliminating intestinal
worms should be a priority for digestive health.
Here
are some recipes with antimicrobial properties to combat these worms and
parasites. They also help prevent their proliferation, and also help improve
health.
Garlic
Garlic
is a powerful antimicrobial. Thanks to its natural antibiotic properties, it
helps control not only parasites, but also bacteria. Take a few cloves of raw
garlic on an empty stomach. To get the body used to digesting it, season meals
with garlic.
Recipe
1: Take 2 or 3 cloves of garlic, crush them in a cup and cover them with
boiling water. Leave to macerate overnight and drink the preparation the next
morning on an empty stomach. Follow this treatment for 3 consecutive days.
After drinking the preparation, it is best to wait at least 30 minutes before
having breakfast to make the treatment more effective.
Remedy
2: 4 cloves of garlic, 1/2 cup of milk. Grate 4 cloves of garlic into the cup
of milk. Boil for 15 minutes. Leave to soak overnight. Absorb the next morning

its effectiveness in the fight against intestinal parasites and larvae.

leave to infuse for 10 to 20 minutes. Drink twice a day for one week. Always
use freshly ground clove powder for best health benefits.
Pumpkin
seeds
Pumpkin
seeds are among the most powerful natural remedies, both for eliminating
intestinal parasites and for preventing them. They can be eaten in several
ways: raw, unroasted and preferably on an empty stomach, ground after roasting
and then used as a condiment in meals.
Recipe:
1 litre of coconut water, 80 pumpkin seeds, i.e. 5 tablespoons of seeds, 2
tablespoons of honey (40 g). First peel the seeds and then grind them. Then add
the coconut water and mix well. Then add the 2 tablespoons of honey to this
mixture. Drink this liquid on an empty stomach to eliminate intestinal
parasites. Repeat for 3 days.
Papaya
seeds
An
effective remedy for intestinal parasites, papaya seeds contain enzymes that
destroy intestinal worms, especially roundworms. Papaya seeds can be consumed
in capsule or powder form.
Recipe:
Cut the papaya open and remove the seeds with a spoon. Crush the seeds. Mix one
tablespoon of pureed papaya seeds with one tablespoon of honey. Drink on an
empty stomach every morning for seven days.
Leave for one week. Then repeat the treatment for one week.
For
children: Puree the fresh seeds, mix into a porridge. Drink on an empty stomach
in the morning for 2 days.
Lemon
Lemon
has anti-parasitic and depurative properties. This makes it a natural remedy
for intestinal worms. Use lemon juice mixed with water and honey as an infusion
to fight parasites.
Recipe:
03 lemons, 01 stick of fresh celery, 1 litre of water. Grate the lemons to
remove the peel. Then squeeze the lemons and put the juice aside. Boil the
lemon peel and sliced celery in 1 litre of water for at least 20 minutes.
Remove from the heat, add the juice and strain. Drink 1 glass of this mixture
before each meal for a week.
Turmeric
Turmeric
is a medicinal root used in traditional medicine to treat a variety of
infections. A study published in Experimental Parasitology demonstrated the
usefulness of turmeric in the treatment of intestinal parasites.
Recipe
1: 1 cup of hot water, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1/2 lemon or lime, 1/2
teaspoon of honey. Heat the water without boiling it. Add the turmeric to the
hot water, squeeze out the half lemon and add the honey. Stir well, as the
honey does not dissolve easily and the turmeric tends to settle to the bottom
of the cup. You can drink this
turmeric-lemon infusion whenever you like, but ideally on an empty stomach. If
you are on a course of treatment, drink 2 cups a day for a fortnight, followed
by a further two-week break before eventually resuming.
Recipe
2: Infuse 4 tablespoons of turmeric powder with 2 or 3 black peppercorns in a
glass of boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes. Drink 2 cups a day. Do this for 1
week.
Prevention
Before
starting any treatment, confirm the existence of worms by a hospital diagnosis.
Pay for and use the medicines prescribed by the doctor. These recipes are
supportive. Eat well and exercise regularly to prevent weight gain. Above all,
maintain good hygiene at home. Wash all fruits and vegetables that are to be
eaten raw with soap and water. Cover bins properly to prevent rats and flies
from breeding. Wash hands with soap and water before and after cooking, eating
and after using the toilet.
